The principles of slow fashion, products with purpose, and repairability underpinned the creation of the R.M.Williams brand, decades before such principles even had labels.

One of the most responsible things we can do is to create products that don't need replacing, thereby avoiding all associated impacts of the next product. In our Crafting a Better Future strategy, we are extending our existing quality design, manufacturing, care and repair cycle to refurbish boots and finally, recycle products when all the life has been squeezed out of them.
