How it’s made

A journey from Adelaide to Tasmania

1. Fabric offcuts from our five-pocket production line are delivered to Waverley Mills in Tasmania, where they’re shredded and broken down into fine strands.
2. The strands are combined with a local single source virgin merino wool in a blending machine, creating a durable fibre blend that can be spun.
3. The blankets are woven on high-speed looms overseen by long-standing Waverley Mills artisans, before they’re milled and professionally shrunken down to the perfect size. 
4. The blanket edges are finished with a whipstitch, then labelled with a washable leather patch and rolled before leaving Waverley Mills.
