Chromexcel is a premium combination-tanned leather, built for superior durability. Crafted through 89 steps over 28 days, it uses natural tree bark retanning agents and pigments. The process combines heat, steam, pressure, and handcrafting, while oils and waxes enhance durability and develop a rich patina over time.

Our heritage full leather sole is crafted from premium cowhide, stained in homage to Australia's red earth and finished with the R.M.Williams gold foil stamp.

A full vegetable-tanned leather insole and integrated foam provide underfoot comfort and arch support for all-day wear.

Goodyear welt
In this artisanal process, a strip of durable leather is stitched between the upper and sole of the boot, providing a barrier against water and mud whilst making the boot fully repairable.

Care instructions

CLEANING

Our R.M.Williams Leather Cleaner is specifically formulated to help you look after your R.M.Williams leather goods, ideal for removing dirt and grime from your boots and shoes.
- Wipe over with a damp cloth to remove mud, dirt, dust or salt.
- Apply R.M.Williams Leather Cleaner directly and evenly onto any marks in the leather.
- Rub cleaner evenly over surface with a damp cloth until clean.
- Remove any excess cleaner with a dry clean cloth.
CONDITIONING

R.M.Williams Leather Conditioner should be applied regularly to finished leather footwear to maintain and preserve the leather.
- Apply R.M.Williams Leather Conditioner evenly with a clean cloth or hands.
- Allow the conditioner to penetrate for approximately 15 minutes
- Note: be careful not to over condition; leather also needs to breathe. Therefore, if you clean your boots every week, do not use conditioner each time.
- Note: do not use Stockman's Boot Polish on vesta or greasy kip or oily leathers, as it drastically changes the appearance of the boots

When selecting your size, please note that R.M.Williams boots are crafted using men's UK footwear sizing. Our mens's boots can come in a range of fittings: F, G, H, and X detailed below:

     • F = Narrow
     • G = Regular
     • H = Wide
     • X = Extra Wide

Each fitting within the same size varies by approximately 0.64cm or 1/4” in foot width. To find your ideal fit, please refer to the ‘Width' tab.

Measuring guide

A step by step guide on how to find your perfect size.

Follow these easy steps to get the right size. For the best fit, wear the socks you would usually wear with boots.
Step 1 Place your foot on a piece of paper. Mark the points at the back of the heel & big toe. Use a tape measure to measure the length in-between. This will give you boot size.
Step 2 Measure around your foot at it's widest point (just below the toes). Wrap the tape measure around your foot completely. This will give you your width measurement.
Step 3 Do the same for the other foot.
Step 4 Match the width & length measurements of your larger foot against our size chart. If you're in-between 2 fits or sizes, go with the larger one.
